Welcome to Shubhvite, a platform operated by Nagothu Digital Services Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in accordance with data protection laws including:

- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (European Union)
- Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) (UAE)
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other U.S. privacy laws
By using Shubhvite, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
- User Data: Name, email address, phone number, and login credentials (encrypted).
- Recipient Data: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of invitees you manually select when sending invitations.
We do not access your contact list without explicit permission. The app never syncs or auto-uploads your contacts.
1.2 Media Content
Photos, videos, and audio files uploaded to create invitations.
1.3 Technical Data
Device type, operating system, IP address, app usage logs, and location data (if enabled).
1.4 Marketing (Opt-In Only)
With your explicit consent, we may use your name, email, or phone number to send updates or offers. You can opt out at any time.
1.5 Data usage
We may send you event updates, invitations, or special messages on behalf of companies or event organisers (for example, a brand inviting you to a store opening).
Your personal details are not shared with these companies. All messages come through Shubhvite. If you choose to reply or register with the company directly, then you may share your details with them at that time.
You can stop receiving marketing messages anytime by changing your settings in the app or by clicking “unsubscribe” in the message.
2. Purpose of Collection
- Send invitations via WhatsApp, SMS, and email
- Generate personalized video invitations
- Provide customer support and improve features
- Fulfill legal or regulatory obligations in India, the EU, UAE, or U.S.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party marketing.
3. Data Storage and Retention
3.1 Where We Store Data
All personal and contact data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in India.
3.2 Retention Duration
- Contact and media data: Stored temporarily for invitation delivery.
- Account data: Deleted within 1 business day of user request.
- Financial/legal data: Retained for up to 5 years if required by law (never used for marketing).
4. User Control and Rights
You can manage your data directly within the app:
- Delete Contacts: Anytime from app settings
- Delete Account: Menu > Side bar > Delete Account
- Download or Review Data: Upon request via email
Upon deletion, all data is erased within 1 business day, and you’ll receive confirmation via email.
Your Rights Under Global Laws:
- Access your data: Available in India, EU (GDPR), UAE (PDPL), and US (CCPA).
- Correct your data: You may request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data (available in all four regions).
- Delete your data: Supported across India, EU, UAE, and US.
- Withdraw consent: You may revoke your consent for data processing at any time (applicable in all regions).
- Export or transfer your data: Supported under EU GDPR and UAE PDPL only.
- Object to processing: Supported under GDPR, UAE PDPL, and with limitations under CCPA (US); not applicable in India.

5. International Data Transfers
Although your data is stored in India (AWS region), we may transfer limited data to third parties (e.g., WhatsApp, SMS providers) for service delivery.
We ensure all transfers are compliant with applicable laws:
- EU/UK: Transfers based on explicit consent and secured via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
- UAE: Transfers allowed if consented or for legitimate service delivery.
- US: Services comply with privacy frameworks or contractual safeguards.
We do not sell or monetize user or recipient data.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We only share your data with providers directly involved in invitation delivery:
- SMS/WhatsApp gateways
- Email delivery platforms
- Video rendering APIs
All providers are contractually required to maintain data confidentiality and security.
7. Data Security
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
- Access Control: Role-based access to data
- Audits & Monitoring: Regular internal checks to prevent misuse
- Data Isolation: No cross-access between users or invitees
8. Cookies & Analytics
We use minimal cookies only to maintain session functionality. We do not use cookies for behavioral tracking or advertising.
9. Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated periodically. We’ll notify users of material changes via the app or registered email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes your acceptance.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This policy is governed by the laws of India, and aligns with:
- IT Act 2000 and SPDI Rules (India)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU/EEA)
- UAE PDPL
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Dispute Resolution: Disputes will be resolved through good-faith discussions. If unresolved, they shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
